Oil Pastels: Snake and Frog

   

Two pastels I've done recently.  Fun to draw, pretty quick to do.  The snake is a baby green emerald boa; they come out ruby red and adorable.

Oil Pastels: Cow Skull

Tonight's sketch.  Bones can be fairly black and white, but it's interesting to add in color.

 

Oil Pastels: Sea Creatures

Some quick sea creature oil pastel practice.  Really enjoying how colorful these are, and super simple to draw with.  A nice way to relax after school.

Oil Pastels: Poison Dart Frogs

My latest attempt at oil pastels.  These were quite fun to draw; I'm really enjoying using oil pastels.  Clockwise from top left: Blue Poison Dart Frog (aka Okopipi), Bumblebee Poison Dart Frog, Strawberry Poison Dart Frog (Blue Jeans Morph), and a Green and Black Poison Dart Frog.
